educators for their professional dedication and commitment.
Awards and criteria may be found below. Nomination deadlines may
be found on the chapter events calendar.

The Alton L. Taylor Administrative
Leadership Award
Criteria for the Alton L. Taylor Administrative Leadership Award:
1. May be any outstanding educational administrator.
2. Must display qualities of excellence in leadership.
3. Must have personal qualities of exceptional character
and high standards of integrity
4. Must be an individual who has promoted education on the
local, regional, state, or national level.
Teacher of the Year Awards
Please note that separate nominations may be made for the following
categories:
a. elementary
b. secondary
d. first-year teacher
Criteria for Outstanding Teachers of the Year Awards (Elementary /
Secondary / First-Year):
1. Must have leadership
2. Must relate to students in a positive manner and have
the respect of the students.
3. Must have the highest standards of character and
integrity.
4. Must be one who motivates and inspires.
